The "FemFest" festival starts its second edition in Tirana on Saturday. Various theater performances are part of this festival, where there are also other activities. Part of the festival will be artists, activists, writers, etc., where today's issues will be at the center of it. With Iliriana Basha as executive director this year, "FemFest" will convey important messages for our society. She shows that through art the messages come more powerfully to the public, where today's issues will be addressed. "Women artists, civil society activists gather to come together and give messages through art. We know that through art they come more, they come more powerfully to the public. Of course, we deal with every issue that concerns us as women, even more so in the case of the murders of three women. We understand every day and more about what society we are living in. We try to convey all the issues that concern us through activities within the framework of "FemFest" in Tirana. "FemFest" comes with messages for women, girls and gender equality", says Iliriana Basha, executive director of the festival that starts on Saturday on the stage of the National Theater at "ArTurbina", its second edition. The festival starts on the 4th to continue until the 8th of March. As an organizer and executive director, Iliriana Basha has managed to develop a festival in Tirana, which, like last year, will convey a lot to the public, through impressive performances, debates, protest, music, etc. For director Iliriana Basha, it is important that this festival continues to expand with participation. "This year, troops from Kosovo are also part of it", she says. In the program of the festival, the director Basha says that for the first time "Fem Talk" will also take place. "Six women come and bring their stories with challenges, sacrifices, but who have always succeeded giving a message of empowerment to other women and girls", she says.
