"Faust" on the stage of the "Moisiu" festival, the show is a collaboration of three theaters in Kosovo

"Fausti" is another show at the "Moisiu" Albanian Theater Festival, which has started its second edition in Tirana. Written and directed by Fadil Hysaj, a play by the Gjilan City Theatre, the Kosovo National Theater and the "Bekim Fehmiu" Theater Prizren. Faust, the main character of a classic German legend and the hero of Western folklore and literature is the protagonist of the play. After Faust realizes that he has spent his life in search of higher knowledge, he is ready to sell his soul to Mephisto in exchange for another 30 years of life which he would like to use to experience the missing love and the opportunity to move to other times and spaces to satisfy his endless curiosity...But in the life he gains in exchange, Faustus becomes part of a wild and cruel world in which the soul is sold and traded for goals far lower than those of Faust. The play was shown last night on the stage of the National Theater at "ArTurbina" in Tirana. The "Moisiu" Albanian Theater Festival is held on November 20-27 in Tirana. This confrontation of works, dominated by those in the Albanian language, also as a way to promote it as much as possible, started last year with the initiative of the National Theater of Albania, the National Theater of Kosovo and the Albanian Theater of Skopje.
