The drama "Blood of the Nation's Martyrs" based on true events at the Tirana lake amphitheater

The drama "Blood of the Nation's Martyrs" is continuing its journey on different stages. This evening the drama will be for the public on the stage of the amphitheater of the artificial lake of Tirana. The drama "Blood of Martyrs of the Nation" adapted by Bajram Torba is based on the novel of the same title by the writer Zana Tako. Bujar Asqeriu, Margent Caushi, Erjon Hinaj, Gëzim Rudi, Marjana Kondi, Alba Shtëmbari, Lindar Kaja, Delvis Bejleri, Alban Masaku, Bajram Torba perform in the work. The theme of the drama is based on true real events, at the time of the persecution of the clergy and believers. The drama appears precisely in the period of Lent, in the Cathedral of St. Paul, where Christ the chief shepherd, blesses the people and spiritual teachers, reminding them of the trust of love and truth, as a path that Christ himself has marked with his blood. The events of the drama take place in the investigation and prison of the city of Shkodra, the cradle of resistance and wounds of the martyred people during the dictatorship period. In the dark recesses of the investigation and prison, which make up the scenes of the event, there is Padre Lazëri, the mountaineer Gjin, and other mountaineers such as Kola, or Kola's wife. "This place where we are now is our school. This is where love is learned", says the main character Padre Lazër, who turns the prison cell into the parish, where he preaches the word of God, love, forgiveness, nobility of soul with wisdom. Directed by Bajram Torba, music and musical effects were prepared by composer Artur Dhamo.
