The following program

The "Summer at Marubi" program was a program that continued for several years at the "Marubi" national photography museum, contributing to the digitization of various documents. The museum announces that there will be another program next summer. "Next summer, the program will be replaced with "Marubi Open Archive", an open invitation for artists, curators and art critics to research the Marubi archive", says the museum. In 2003, the "Marubi" photo gallery would be separated from the city's Historical Museum, thus passing under the Ministry of Culture's status as a national institution. The national photo library "Marubi" remains the only representative institution of the art of photography in Albania and the following photographers keep their photographic collections in it: Pietro Marubbi, Mati Kodheli, Kel Marubi, Gegë Marubi, Kolë Idromeno, Shan Pici, Dedë Jakova, Pjeter Rraboshta, Angjelin Nenshati, Mehmet Kallfa, Pirro Mosi, Safet and Gjylzade Dokle. At the center of the museum project of the national museum of photography "Marubi" is the legacy of "Photo-Studio Marubbi" founded in 1856 by Pietro Marubbi, an Italian painter and photographer who came and settled in Shkodër at that time. The National Museum of Photography "Marubi" now in the main pedestrian street of the city of Shkodra, holds in its archive about 400,000 negatives on glass plates, perfectly organized and classified according to the year of shooting and the content of the photograph. an Italian painter and photographer who came and settled in Shkodër at that time.
