Albina Kelmendi and her family this evening will climb the "Eurovision" stage on the final night. The representative of Albania in "Eurovision", Albina Kelmendi and her family qualified first in the "Eurovision" final, which is being held in Liverpool, Great Britain this year. The song "Duje" has lyrics by Eriona Rushiti and music by Enis Mullaj. After the end of the second semi-final evening on May 11, a press conference was held. Among other things, Albina made a statement about Greater Albania, which became news in many foreign media. "We are of the same blood, of the same nationality, Kosovo and Albania are like brother and sister and we have a mother who is Greater Albania", said Kelmendi. There are 26 countries competing for the grand prize and Albina and the Kelmendi family will sing in the final at number 10.
The "Eurovision" final is held this Saturday evening and the list of finalists consists of Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Serbia, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Albania, Cyprus, Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Lithuania, Poland, Australia, Armenia, etc. Albania is represented in "Eurovision" by Albina and the Kelmendi family with the song "Duje", as the winner of the 61st edition of the Song Festival on Albanian Radio Television. Only 20 countries were selected from the two semi-finals on 9 and 11 May to perform in the grand final this evening on 13 May, which will be joined by the 5 permanent finalists (Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Germany) as and last year's winning country (Ukraine), who complete the list of 26 finalist countries. Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra won last year's competition, but organizers decided to hold it in another location because of the war.
