Tomatoes are the summer favorites and their uses in this season are varied.

One of the best ways to enjoy the magic of tomatoes is to bake them with soft goat cheese along with bread crumbs mixed with various spices.

The recipe for this fantastic antipasto is below:

Preparation of Roasted Tomatoes with Cheese

Ingredients

4 tomatoes

1 clove of finely chopped garlic

1 tablespoon basil leaves

2 bunches of thinly cut parsley

Salt and pepper,

Half a teaspoon of dried oregano

1 tablespoon olive oil

20 grams of bread crumbs

100 grams of white cheese (or cocoa if you prefer)

Preparation

For starters, AgroWeb.org instructs you to turn the oven to 200 degrees.

Take the pan and grease it with vegetable oil.

Cut the tomatoes into thick slices and place in the pan.

Take a pan and lightly fry the bread crumbs with butter until they have turned brown.

Put a layer of goat cheese on top and fill with bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and oregano.

Then sprinkle each of the slices with olive oil.

Put the pan in the oven and bake the tomatoes for 20 minutes or until the cheese has taken on a baked crust.

After baking, the tomatoes will be softened and the cheese will have taken on a brown color.

The aroma of garlic in this case complements quite well the taste of ripe tomatoes.

Finally, on top of each of the tomato slices you can add a few more bread crumbs to make them more crunchy on each bite.

Add a little olive oil again for the final flavor and aroma.

You can consume this dish at lunch or dinner accompanied by other dishes or as a single.

You can bake tomatoes in the oven alone and combine them with different cheeses in panini or roasted vegetables.
