10 years ago, on March 6, 2013, the great actor of the Albanian stage passed away. Known as "Jovan Bregu" of building 176, Roland Trebicka has passed away after a long-term illness.

In the last years of his life, the actor suffered from a lung tumor, a disease from which he was cured even outside the country, but despite the treatments, he could not make it.

These were among the last words that Roland Trebicka said to his wife, before he passed away.

"Perhaps I will return to the theater, to the courtyard or to the lobby, but I know that I will never go on stage again. Honor me".

The well-known actor really returned to the theater, but for the last time, where he was honored and honored by friends, colleagues, and politicians, 10 years ago, when he passed away.

Some time before his death, the actor had talked about his illness.

"Believe me, I am a man who has never known sickness. I remember I only got 9 days report, when I was 23 years old and I was playing in the part "House on the Boulevard".

As I was getting dressed, I saw that I was covered in red spots and had a fever. I had the measles. And since then I don't remember getting any report.

We had not yet started with the play "Absurd Table", when I started to feel not very well. One day when I returned home, I felt feverish and had a cough. I thought about quitting smoking.

I had tried so many times and I said, why not quit now. I smoked so much! Yes, our work is like that, especially in the desk process, when you are under tension, when you are constantly searching... But it was a situation that I did not like and I decided to visit.

Since I've never been cured, I didn't even know where to turn and a friend of mine from the theater went to the dispensary. I was told it was something old, nothing to worry about and got some meds.

In the meantime, we started Ferdinand Hys's "Absurd Tableau", and we were even going to India. It was a long and tiring journey. When I returned, I was directed to another doctor who shot a childhood friend. I knew immediately what I had when I saw their faces…”
