The singer Ronela Hajati, invited to a television program, confessed like never before, the experiences from the criticism received for the representation in "Eurovision".

Ronela, who represented Albania at the European Song Festival last year, expressed her hurt for the "river of remarks" as she called it, that she heard while staying in Italy.

"I never spoke about Eurovision, because I kept it to myself. When I was there, I saw a flood of criticism and remarks. I sang that song all over Europe, while here many people turned their backs on me. Everyone knows how I am on stage. Everything I would do was well thought out. But it is not a festival of national songs, it is not a place where you have to sing a song to represent the traditions or culture of your country. It is an ultramodern festival, beyond all expectations. Maybe it sounds selfish, but there I thought of making a show for my name".

According to her, the Albanian Radio Television staff did not give her the requested budget, and even paid for the presentation clip or even the hotel stay.

"The relations I had that year with the RTSH staff were very close. I wanted a giant stage, but as a budget, it was never given to me. I was forced to pay for the representative clip myself. If you look at the hotels in other countries, we stayed in a motel in the suburbs, so the fans didn't know where to find us. I never got a message from the director, not even a 'success'. I had no support of any kind. It's a shame, not a pity. We had to stay four more days until the Festival ended, they left and I felt alone".

They left me in the middle of four roads, I paid for the hotels and everything myself, Ronela confessed with tears in her eyes.

"I didn't understand why it happened, because I tried with all kindness, I tried very hard to make it come out as nice as possible. I had a lot of mistakes I made there, I admit. A performance more similar to the one in RTSH could come out. There he sang in front of 30,000 people every two days. All that great joy, you forget that you shouldn't strain your voice. But the support from those who should support me, have been zero".

She describes the way she was judged in the Albanian media as disgusting. During the Festival, shows were held in Albania, where the guests only insulted me, said the artist during the interview.

"Every day, shows were held here, where there were people who said that girl in the dirt, she shamed us, she came out naked. I don't want to bring up tears, but it was disgusting to deal with an artist when everyone knew she was well-meaning. To gather political shows, to insult an artist again and again. Good or bad, my song is the only one that has become a hit. To this day, it continues to be played in every club. But we have zero support for each other, it's a pity. I felt like I failed, I said my career is over".

Meanwhile, the artist of several hits told more about her new album "Bardh e zi" and the reason why she chose this title.

"All the videos are black and white, in our soul, there is both white and black. Our whole life, no matter how colorful it is, we ourselves sometimes want to see it in black and white. December is the typical month, that although there are beautiful colors, there are people who feel only black and white. But, these songs have many colors inside".

But who inspires Ronela Hayati?

"Man is inspired by the sensations he experiences. But, I don't have a song, to say that I have it for x person. I have not made such dedications, but I get inspiration from everyday life. Even if there is something personal, I increase it 10 times in the text", replied the 34-year-old.
