"If it wasn't for my partner, I wouldn't be here", Kastro Zizo tells how he managed to give up alcohol and the 'debauched' life

The well-known artist Kastro Zizo confessed to News24 the radical change he has made in his way of life.

As he shared the close relationship he had with his late mother, he said that her departure from this life made him increase the doses of abuse, thinking that he would find solace there. "My heart froze", he said, adding that after the loss of his dear man, several artistic paths were opened to him that he had never thought of until that moment. The artist said that there are times when he feels her energy and there is a kind of 'communication', "I hope that one day when it is the end of my physical cycle, I will have the opportunity to meet her".

During his journey in life, which we can describe as difficult due to the addiction created by drinking, or as he expresses it from "debauched life", Castro has always had his father by his side, "He was there at every moment of hard of my life. He was a friend". Kastro said that his father is from Frashëri in Përmet and his family is related to the Frashëri family. "We are now surnamed Bega, but we are direct descendants of the Frashëri family, the change came as a result of events in our family. Some 16 years ago, we also went to Ankara to meet our great cousins".

Castro Zizo has already renounced any abuse, and his partner Sara had a tremendous influence on this, "If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be here, I would be in a cafe, with a long list of brandy debts . Sara has brought out my good side". Meanwhile, he described the little boy Dante as "the spiritual revolution of his life".

Castro said that the best thing he has done in life, after children, is to give up abuse.

A very nice moment in the studio was when two video messages were shown from the father and his eldest son Duncan, who did not spare the beautiful words for the artist.

The love that Castro has for his three children is great and the same for all of them. But he honestly admitted that with his little son he has been a more devoted and caring father, and this is thanks to the change he has made in his lifestyle.
