The Union of Himariotes has announced holding a protest in front of the Albanian embassy in Athens this Tuesday. The protest will be held as a sign of solidarity with Fredi Beleri and to oppose his arrest, which the Union of Himariotes describes as unjust.
Through an official statement, the association invites all Albanian and Greek citizens to join the protest in front of the Albanian embassy in Athens, at 18:00 at the address: No. 7 Vekiarel, Filothei.

The Albanian government, against any concept of the law, decided to continue the imprisonment of the mayor of Himara, Fredis Beleris, and the citizen Pantelis Kokavesis. In the face of this development, the Union of Chimarriots will exert all the power it can so that our compatriots are released as they deserve.
We invite all Himarjotes who live in Athens but also every Vorioepirot, every citizen of Greece and Albania who understands this injustice to join us in the peaceful protest that we are organizing on Tuesday, May 23 at 06.00 in the afternoon at the Albanian embassy in Athens.
Let us all together give the message that the practices of ordination will not go unanswered.
