On Ermal Hoxha's important day, Rezarta Shkurta broke her promise

Today Ermal Hoxha celebrates his birthday and between the lines of congratulations, his partner Rezarta Shkurta has shown that she broke a promise on this special day.

The artist traveled to the United Arab Emirates, thus missing the opportunity to celebrate with him today.

"Today I broke a promise I had made to myself, that we would no longer have any birthdays apart from each other. Because no matter how happy I am, I don't know how to smile with my soul when I'm not next to you", wrote the star of the hit song "DJ", probably referring to the period when Ermali was behind bars.

“And the air does not satiate me enough. I thank God every second for bringing you into my life. I love you like on the first day, my best friend, the most wonderful father", added Shkurta.

Ermal Hoxha, who is otherwise known as the nephew of the communist leader, Enver Hoxha - was arrested in 2015 during the operation in Xibrakë and was sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison for attempted drug trafficking.

During the period when Hoxha was serving her sentence, Rezarta released the song "Gjysma ime", which was a dedication to her husband, and which is also the last music video project launched by her.

Throughout those years, Shkurta was quite reserved in giving interviews, except that in those in which she appeared, she never hid the longing and absence of her husband as well as the pride she feels being part of the Hoxha family.

However, the dark period for the couple seems to have been left behind, since Ermali has been enjoying freedom for a long time, while the pair are endlessly enjoying the time together with their little one, Hera.
