Thomas Markle is back with a new interview expressing his desire to see his grandchildren for the first time.

Meghan Markle's father, 79, appeared on Good Morning Britain and spoke in an exclusive interview about his daughter and Prince Harry. Thomas Markle has pleaded with Meghan to let him see his grandchildren, adding that he hasn't seen her in five years since he was in his hospital bed.

"I am hurt. I am so sad. This is a cruel thing to do to a grandfather, to deny them the right to see a grandchild," he said. “In California I could sue to see them, but I don't want to do that. The other is that I have done nothing wrong. There is nothing that says I am bad."

He added: "I'm a really loving dad and he knows it, and there's no excuse for him to treat me like that, there's no excuse for him to treat the grandparents like that."

Speaking about what Meghan was like, Thomas Markle said: “Meghan lived with me from sixth grade to high school and I've never seen anything like it. I never saw the type of woman she turned into, I'm shocked. She is not the person I knew as my daughter.”

When asked if he thinks it's Harry's fault, Thomas Markle said: “I think it affects Harry more than her. I'm always here for her, I still love her, I always will. That will never change, but I want him to come to me and let me see my grandkids and let me chill. People go to jail for five years and apologize, I didn't do anything. So I think he could forgive me. "

He added: “I would always apologize for anything I did wrong. I'm sorry if I did that."

Meghan's father compared himself to King Charles III, saying both have been cut off from their grandchildren. "And King Charles III has done nothing wrong and is childless just like me," he said.
