The absurd theater of Albanian politics

During the 1960s and early 1970s, there was a very popular art and theater movement called "Theatre of the Absurd." It was closely associated with the existentialist movement which advocated the exploration of life's most basic urges, elements and motivations. The basis of the absurdist theme was the work of the philosopher Albert Camus, especially the book-length essay, The Myth of Sisyphus, and the novel The Stranger. In that game, the birth of a new post-war generation with a new mentality was pointed out, to whom the behavior of the generation of the Second World War, who were leading the political life of the country and vice versa, seemed senseless and absurd. This absurdity required a solution with a new vision to inspire the masses. This theatrical movement used nonsensical and irrational dialogue to criticize modern superficial life and the absurdity of human actions. The current state of politics in Albania is nothing less than a tragicomedy, it is simply an absurd theater. The most dangerous traits of a politician are what psychologists call the dark triad of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. What these traits share is a willingness to exploit others for personal gain. People with dark triad traits tend to be more politically ambitious, they are attracted to power for its own sake. But we often fall under their spell. The completely divided opposition and its MPs are making calculations about who is the safest way to elect MPs, weighing between America and the balcony. Isn't Gazmend Bardhi's group like that? They are pro-America, but also pro-Berisha (non grata), they are for internal democracy of the Party, but also for total dependence on the president who appoints deputies according to his wishes. This pro-American group believes in America but made a pact with the anti-Americans. The rest of the opposition is also trying to find the safest way to be re-elected through cooperation with the government or with harsh rhetoric. These young people unfortunately remind us of Faik Konica who said: "There are no young Albanians, but only some Albanians born earlier, some born later, - all old, dry from their hearts, which has never known enthusiasm for anything." Why does this happen to us Albanians? Do we really not have young people with new ideas and visionaries capable of inspiring the masses? I think this has to do with the culture created in the country over the centuries, or as Namik Hoti called it "the culture of not getting off the horse". The medieval and Slavic-communist culture in Albania makes our leaders, but not only them, think that they are eternal and irreplaceable. They forget that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers. If a new group emerges they declare them as heretics, they label them as traitors and expect all financial opportunities for them to challenge their power. Isn't this happening in both camps of Albanian politics? Sali Berisha has turned PD into a bunker with loyal followers imitating his voice and movements and throwing away all different voices from the party. This is what happened with Edi Rama, who continues to bring out enemies and corrupt people every day. But let's go back to Bardhi's group and other political parties, who claim that this is their only chance for the great union that will challenge Edi Rama's regime. They want to present their spectacular failure to the 80-year-old ex-communist and recently anti-American Sali Berisha as the only alternative for victory. I want to answer through modern political strategist Henry Kissinger: "The task of the leader is to take his people from where they are to where they have not been." The audience doesn't fully understand the world they're going into. Leaders must inspire an alchemy of grand vision. Those leaders who do not do this are ultimately judged to be failures, even though they may be popular at the moment.” M.gj.s Bardhi or Gjekmarkaj and Salianji nervously try to convince the Albanian public, they are completely failed and sold themselves and the democratic cause to Berisha who is anti-American and who now looks more like Don Quixote. They proved that they are in politics only for their personal interests and proved that they are not "new Albanians, but only those who were born later"

Me një histori të gjatë paqëndrueshmërie politike dhe korrupsioni, politika shqiptare shpesh i ngjan teatrit të absurdit, ku politikanët angazhohen në sjellje të palogjikshme dhe egoiste duke u shtirur si të shurdhër dhe të verbër ndaj zemërimit dhe vuajtjeve të fshehura të njerëzve. Oligarkët mendohen se kush qeveritar mund t’i shërbejë më mirë interesave të tyre për vjedhjen e pasurisë kombëtare. Në qeverisjen e gjatë të socialistëve Edi Rama e preku nevojën e njerëzve për të besuar në diçka… për të pasur besim në përmirësimin e gjërave. Ndërsa ai e rrethoi veten me zyrtarë të paaftë ose në të vërtetë kriminelë (dhe të korruptuar) gjatë gati dhjetë viteve të tij në detyrë, ai vazhdimisht gënjeu publikun për atë që po ndodhte dhe çfarë njerëzit panë vetë. "Mos u besoni syve tuaj gënjeshtar, besoni vetëm atë që ju them", një koncept i rrugës, ishte një teknikë e zgjuar e shmangies që ai përdorte shpesh. Teatri i tij i Absurdit nuk ishte një komedi dhe nuk ishte një tragjedi. Në vend të kësaj, ishte një traktat politik se si të mashtronim njerëzit shumicën e kohës për argëtim dhe përfitim. Duke e parë veten si autor dhe personazh kryesor në një shfaqje absurde për qeverinë shqiptare, na çoi në këtë moment në dukje të pakuptimtë, ku kryeministri jonë duket më shumë si gjenerali i ushtrisë (qeverisë) së vdekur ose më saktë pjesërisht të burgosur dhe pjesërisht të arratisur, ndërsa pjesa e mbetur e qeverisë jeton në tmerrin midis burgut dhe arratisjes. Qëllimi i jetës së Ramës duket se është mënyra më e mirë për t'i mbajtur objektet me shkëlqim në fytyrat e njerëzve, ndërsa ai i zbukuron ato, në mënyrë që të bëjë një audiencë të madhe të besojë se jeta është vetëm ajo që ai u thotë se është. Epo, perdja po zbret, publiku ka duartrokitur pa kërkuar përsëritje (larg qoftë) dhe SPAK-u po na tregon anën tjetër të objekteve me shkëlqim . Loja dhe akti kanë mbaruar. Sinqerisht, ky obsesion me ambasadorët, oligarkët, kryeministrin dhe kryetarët e partive duket se është thjesht një media e ndyrë teatrale që merret me gjithçka, por jo me hallet, varfërinë, mungesën e shërbimeve dhe mbi të gjitha ajo që është më kryesorja mungesa e demokracisë. Demokraci do të thotë pushteti i popullit dhe deputetët dhe kryetarët e bashkive dhe gjithë pushtetarët e tjerë nuk zgjidhen poshtë ballkonit, te dera e kryeministrisë, te dera e ambasadave apo nga paratë e ndyra të oligarkëve. Kompetencat duhet të shkojnë në bazë dhe dyert duhet të jenë të hapura për të gjithë sepse të vetmet dyer që janë të hapura, janë ato të emigracionit. Ajo që po ndodh tani ka për qëllim t'ju shpërqendrojë nga çështjet reale dhe t'ju pengojë të mendoni shumë thellë për atë që mund të ndryshojë në të vërtetë jetën tonë. A nuk kanë ligjvënësit tanë ndonjë punë për të bërë? Na duhet të vëmë në dyshim seriozitetin e debatit se çfarë thonë ambasadorët dhe cila është batuta e rradhës e kryeministrit, apo atletet që ai vesh, ndërkohë që ëndrra për demokraci e mirëqënie, duket se është ajo që po derdhet në tualet. Dhe së fundmi duhet tu kujotojmë liderëve tanë se të dish se kur të largohesh është mençuri. Të jesh në gjendje të largohesh është guxim dhe të largohesh me kokën lart është dinjitet.
