Romeo Kara: This is how Sali Berisha "made a hole" for Ilir Meta for the CEZ-DIA file, I show you the witnesses who can open "Pandora's Box" in the Gërdec affair and the last plan of the anti-USA duo to escape handcuffs

Kastriot Ismailaj, the owner of the DIA Company involved in the 400 million euro affair of CEZ-DIA, file in which Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta are accused, has been released from prison. Ismailaj, the only one punished for this case, was sentenced to 11 years in prison in October 2017 and from May 12, 2017 until a few days ago when the authorities released him, he stayed in Fier prison. But about the "CEZ-DIA" affair and other sensitive political and legal issues, as well as the "Gërdec" file, the well-known lawyer, Romeo Kara, spoke yesterday. The latter has denounced the affairs with the privatization of this body and is one of the key witnesses of the CEZ-DIA affair. During an interview for the "SOT" newspaper, Mr. Kara revealed details of how former Prime Minister Sali Berisha "made a hole" for the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, for the CEZ-DIA file.  

- Mr. Kara, the SPAK offensive and recent arrests seem to have horrified the Berisha-Meta couple, who attack the Special Prosecutor's Office almost every day. Do you have a comment and why are they on alert?

Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha know very well what they have done and what awaits them. Both are the heads of the same cabal, not even that of corruption, crime, fraud and betrayal that has taken this country and this people hostage. Every darkness has its end, so this kuchedra is also feeling the approach of its end. SPAK is not the only cause of this announced end. It is the truth that has been said and is being said, killing fear and making people aware of the negative role of corruption in the state-forming process and people's daily lives. It is the role of the international factor that is properly evaluating this phenomenon that destroys human values ??and the reality itself, which cannot be covered by any fear or empty political rhetoric. SPAK is only one of the legal instruments, whose mission is precisely to investigate and properly file charges against the corrupt gang, starting with its two heads, Berisha and Meta. Aware of what will happen, they have only one means to survive: pressure of any kind and the destabilization of the legal order. This pressure is addressed precisely to that part of SPAK, which is not under their influence or hostage taking. Above all, they are alarmed by an independent justice system.

-Does SPAK have enough evidence to put Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha behind bars?

The facts and evidence against them are endless, stubborn and exhaustive. This is not in doubt. What is needed is only the independence of SPAK and the will to rise to the level of the mission of establishing the long-awaited justice and the rule of law in the country. In every aspect of their governance, SPAK will find facts and evidence of corruption, abuse of office, conflict of interest, illegal trafficking, laundering of proceeds of crime, etc. It would be a real surprise if SPAK found even one case of law enforcement by them in these 30 years.

- Does the CEZ-DIA file endanger Meta? What do you know about this affair?

Kjo aferë është në vazhdën e aferës së privatizimit të OSSH-se nga CEZ-i si produkt i pazarit politik të pas zgjedhjeve të përgjithshme të vitit 2009. Fakti që ajo dosje ndodhet në SPAK prej gjashtë vitesh, flet më shumë se çdo fjalë e imja.

- Ndërkohë me dosjen e Gërdecit po merret personalisht vete kreu i SPAK Altin Dumani, mendoni se do shkojnë ne burg fajtoret e vërtetë?

Çështja duhet hapur nga e para dhe jo vetëm në mënyrë të pjesshme për Fatmir Mediun. Aty duhet të dëshmojnë edhe ata që nuk përmenden si ish-shefi i shtabit të ushtrisë, Luan Hoxha, familjarë të Kosta Trebickës, etj, duke krijuar një tablo të plotë të asaj çfarë ka ndodhur. Janë një numër i madh veprash penale të konsumuara nga një numër po ashtu i madh njerëzish, shqiptarë dhe të huaj. Nuk duhet parë si një çështje që i ka kaluar koha, por si një sfidë reale për drejtësi. Njerëzit nuk harrojnë çfarë iu ka ndodhur ashtu si Saliu harroi që kishte baxhanak. Drejtësinë për këtë rast ia kemi borxh së pari, gjakut të të pafajshmëve, që u bënë kurban i babëzisë së Sali Berishës dhe familjes së tij.

- Pse ne listën qe thirri Fatmir Mediu për dëshmitarë, nuk është emri i Shkëlzen Berishës?

Me sa duket këtë çështje po e shqyrtojnë jo se duan ta zbardhin, por sepse kanë presion nga familjarët e viktimave dhe opinioni publik. SPAK-u dhe i gjithe sistemi i drejtësisë duhet menjëherë të ndryshoje qasje ndaj kësaj çështjeje. Askush nuk do të lodhet me nga këto gjykime të cunguara me tendencë mbylljen e çështjes. Vënia e drejtësisë nuk është thjesht vullnet i SPAK-ut dhe gjykatave, por detyre dhe mision kushtetues dhe njerëzor i tyre. Ne kemi për detyrë të themi të vërtetat tona.

-Po thirrjet e Berishës për protesta si te duken? A ka ai potencial për të rrezuar qeverinë siç premton?

Janë thirrje të një autokrati të pashpresë që me ligësinë e tij do të bëjë kurban një popull dhe një vend të tërë për t'iu shmangur fatit të tij të paracaktuar tashme. Janë thirrje dëshpërimi dhe destabilizimi njëkohësisht, pasi ai sheh mbijetesën e tij dhe të familjes së tij kriminale pikërisht në nxitjen e krizave politike, mbajtjen peng të drejtësisë dhe shtetit ligjor. Janë thirrje instiktive të çdo diktatori fare pak çaste përpara fundit të tij. Janë thirrjet e një të pashpresi, që kërkon vetëm kohë, që më shumë se tek forca dhe ligësia e tij e pafund, shpreson tek ndonje mrekulli e së nesërmes që nuk do t'i vijë kurrë. Janë thirrjet e një të paudhi, që dikur kishte në dorë fatin e një populli të tërë, por, që tani nuk ka as të tijin. Janë thirrjet para fundit të tij. Thirrjet për drejtësi tashmë po i mekin thirrjet berishiane për protesta anti-drejtësi.
