A fight breaks out in the SP, the MPs are unhappy with the government's recent decision to increase pensions and the chaos caused by the blockage of the Cadastre service, the debates in the parliamentary group are clarified

The warning to index pensions by 8.6 percent next month and the government's decision to close all state Cadastre counters, offering the service only online via e-Albania, seem to have stirred the waters within the Socialist Party. Both with the rapid increase in pensions, and with the chaos in which the State Cadastre Agency is currently located, which since the beginning of July, when the digitalization of the system was announced, is not issuing any ownership documentation even for companies that provide services in in the field of real estate, the citizens are the ones who suffer. But it seems that the socialist MPs have appeared alongside the latter, who yesterday during the meeting of the SP parliamentary group were dissatisfied with the two above-mentioned decisions. Initially, it was learned that some deputies of the Socialist Party raised before the group and the chairman Bledi Çuçi the concern regarding the pensions of farmers, as they are considered small. Also, the sources indicate that some of the deputies have raised concerns about the late return of answers from the Cadastre to the citizens. Lawmakers have asked for reflection on this situation and the improvement of the service.

Election of the new People's Advocate

Meanwhile, referring to the same sources, the socialists did not discuss in the meeting the official letter that Gazment Bardhi sent to the Speaker of the Assembly Lindita Nikolla for the election of the new Ombudsman. In his letter, Bardhi informed the head of the socialist parliamentary group Bledi Çuçi. For the election of the People's Advocate, the votes of the majority and the opposition are needed. Meanwhile, the case of Arben Ahmetaj, who is on the run because of the incinerators issue, has not been discussed. In this meeting, no political decision was made for Ahmetaj, i.e. for his exclusion from the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party. According to the MPs, Ahmetaj has not been punished yet, so he will be replaced when the MP's mandate is removed. Also, according to sources, the Electoral Reform was not discussed at the meeting either.

What happened?

We remind you that the Chaos in the Cadastre is much larger than reported. Thousands of citizens have been stuck in actions with their properties, while banks are unable to operate normally with loans when properties are collateral. All this has caused a big deadlock in the country, only because the Cadastre cannot do the actions on the properties as they used to do before. "SOT" newspaper communicated with a citizen, among the thousands who are encountering this problem, learning that now the Cadastre does not even accept to complain about the significant delays for properties. Like this citizen, there are tens of thousands of others in Albania, whose properties have remained hostage to the inability of the Cadastre to perform actions. Everything happens under conditions where the Cadastre receives the money for each procedure, even though it does not provide the service. The notaries have also remained hostage to the chaos.

Nga 17 mijë e 350 lekë aktualisht, ajo që merr çdo muaj një i moshuar që jeton në qytet do të bëhet 18 mijë e 842 lekë. Gati 1 mijë e 400 lekë më tepër do të marrin edhe përfituesit e pensionit të invaliditetit në zonat urbane, ndërsa ata që trajtohen me pension familjar do të përfitojnë rreth 700 lekë më tepër. Ndërkohë pagesa mujore që merr një i moshuar në fshat, pas indeksimit me 8.6 për qind të do të bëhet 11 mijë e 239 lekë nga 10 mijë e 239 lekë që aktualisht është. Nga 1 tetori do të marrin 712 lekë më shumë përfituesit e pensionit të invaliditetet që jetojnë në fshat, ndërsa ata që trajtohen me pension familjar do të përfitojnë rreth 190 lekë më tepër. Nga rritja me 8.6 për qind do të përfitojnë rreth 687 mijë qytetarë, 585 mijë e 809 në zonat urbane dhe 101 mijë e 114 në ato rurale.
