Muharrem Xhafa responds to Çelo Hoxha: The liberation of Tirana is the merit of the partisans and no one else, whoever tries to invent another truth is a son of reaction

On November 17, Tirana celebrated the 79th anniversary of Liberation, the day when the National Liberation forces won the war against the German invaders. But what was noticed is that the Socialist Party has deviated from its promise to support LANÇ. The day of the liberation of Tirana was spent in silence by the SP of Edi Rama. But ironically and as a response to the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, only the executive director of the Institute of Crimes and Consequences of Communism, Çelo Hoxha, had a strong reaction. The latter appeared on stage after a break, "reviving" them, as through a status on social networks he accused the communists that before they entered the capital in November 1944, they purged well-known anti-communist intellectual figures, former soldiers or business people. Muharrem Xhafa, former head of the Education Sector in the Central Committee of the Labor Party, reacted to this situation. He said during the reaction to the newspaper "Sot" that the liberation of Tirana is the merit of the partisans and no one else. According to him, whoever seeks to invent another truth is a son of reaction. "The capital of the motherland, Tirana, was liberated by the heroic Albanian partisans, strongly supported by its people. Who seeks to invent another truth is a son of reaction! It seems like a paradox, but even the German invaders themselves admit what they experienced in the war of the partisan army for the liberation of Tirana, with some inconsistencies in the figures of the losses of human and material forces, which is understandable, because any loser aims to reduce his losses . The young generation should know that for the liberation of the capital, 19 days of fierce war took place (October 29 to November 17, 1944), street by street and alley by alley, barricade by barricade, house by house and body by body! A real heroic fight! The German occupying forces found it impossible to withstand the attacks of the organized partisan army, so they, on the morning of November 17, 1944, stopped their resistance, recognized defeat and took the path of defeat. The losses of the German army were great, and the partisan forces had quite a few killed and wounded! The heroism of the partisans for the liberation of Tirana, in accordance with the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Albanian National Liberation Army, Enver Hoxha, constitutes one of the brightest pages of LANÇ, Xhafa said.

Those who seek to invent other truths are the local collaborators of the German Nazis. It is interesting that the German invaders themselves do not seek any other truth, apart from what they experienced in the Tirana war, excluding any discrepancy in their loss figures, which is inevitable, because the loser always aims to reduce losses. Not only the young generation, but also all Albanians should know that the liberation of the capital was fought for 19 days (October 29 to November 17, 1944) street by street, barricade by barricade, house by house and body by body. A heroic fight! Likewise, they should know that the German invaders, unable to withstand the attacks of the partisan army, on the morning of November 17, 1944, stopped their resistance, retreated and, recognizing the defeat, followed the path of defeat. In the war for the liberation of Tirana, the German occupation forces left more than 3000 dead and many others wounded. Over 300 Nazi soldiers were taken prisoner, while a large amount of various war materials and munitions were captured, such as cannons, tanks, machine guns, vehicles, material wagons, animals, ammunition and light weapons, not to mention the destruction of many materials combat technique. Over 500 quislings and traitors were arrested during the military actions to clear the capital. Yes, even on the side of the partisan forces, there were 417 killed and wounded (127 fighters were killed in the capital alone). Hundreds of people from the civilian population were barbarically massacred by the Nazi forces and their Ballisto-Zogist collaborators. Tirana, like all of Albania, was liberated with blood and great sacrifices!
