Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has confirmed the negotiations between him and Prime Minister Edi Rama. At the weekend, the General Assembly of Local Democratic Elected Members was held, where in his speech at this assembly, Berisha left several messages to the local democratic elected representatives. He told them to cooperate with Edi Rama's government, thus confirming the rumors of negotiations between him and the head of the government, which date back to 2008. "It is very important that we do everything with our vote, oppose the increase of taxes. I also invite you, our honorable elected officials, to represent education with all the power you have. Our municipalities should do everything they can, with scholarships for the poor, to make education a top priority. Check financial aid. Do everything to register citizens who need economic assistance and who do not receive it. We will fight powerfully for the minimum wage. Establishing a living wage is of crucial importance. In accordance with the law, you must cooperate with central government in the interest of your constituents. Therefore, you concentrate the funds you have on projects, especially from international institutions, because this will discriminate against you. You must be very active in international cooperation, in the best interest of the citizens you lead", he declared. Berisha further told them that the local elected officials should motivate the idealist army to face what he calls "Edi Rama's regime". "It is our duty, today that we have everything clear in the sunlight, to motivate this idealistic army to face the regime of Edi Rama. This is an enemy of the vote, this does not allow the vote. This has created models of public vote buying, we are leaving the secret. Based on the gangs, murderers, criminals, with whom he completely robs the mandates he defines", he said.
Berisha warns of a strong confrontation with Basha
Meanwhile, without giving a date, but promising a different way from the gatherings of the last two years, Sali Berisha announced a few days ago the start of a season of protests that, according to him, will not stop until the goal is reached. The head of Reestablishment even commented on the legal situation of the Democratic Party, for which he emphasized that preparations are being made for a confrontation in the European courts. Berisha accused the justice bodies of being completely controlled by the government's number one. According to him, the decision on the DP seal has been held hostage for 4 months. "The whole world knows me except Edi Rama. Unrelated events, but the statute will apply without any discussion. The Supreme Court is dominated by Sokol Sadushi, who is being held hostage by Edi Rama with the vetting file and as you have noticed a decision that he should have given within 30 days has been kept in a drawer for 4 months by order of Edi Rama, that is how he prevented us from going to Strasbourg. The bodies here are anti-legal, controlled by Edi Rama. The case is for retrial, but Sadushi keeps the file. Go and ask that lady at the KLJ, there you can see how the law allows it", underlined Berisha.
