You will not believe the age when you will reach the peak of happiness!

Experts have discovered the age when people are happiest and for most of us there will be little waiting. Researchers from the German Sports University in Cologne, Ruhr University in Bochum, Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the universities of Bern and Basel in Switzerland conducted a study with more than 460,000 participants. During their lives they looked at when they were happiest during their lives.

The team examined people's life satisfaction, positive emotional states and negative emotional states. And looking back over decades of data, they found that people were happiest when they turned 70. In a statement, the team said:

At what age are people the happiest? This seemingly simple question has been studied extensively over the past few decades, but a definitive answer has long been elusive. A research team has now shed light on the question in a comprehensive meta-analytic review published in the journal Psychological Bulletin.

The findings show that respondents' life satisfaction decreased between the ages of 9 and 16, then increased slightly until age 70 and then decreased again until age 96. The study highlights the need to consider and promote subjective well-being with its various components throughout the lifespan, as the authors of the study conclude. Their findings may provide important guidance for the development of intervention programs, particularly those aimed at maintaining or improving subjective well-being at the end of life.
