A serious accident occurred this morning, where two trams collided head-on in Samsuda, on the Turkish Black Sea coast, causing at least 26 injuries, one of them in a serious condition.
As Turkey's state-run Anadolu news agency reports, two trams collided near the Piazza station in the Canik district. It is known that the collision happened at 09:40. A large number of police, firefighters, rescuers and medical teams were sent to the scene of the accident.
The medical teams transported the injured to the city's hospitals in ambulances.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
