SPAK issued an arrest warrant/ The connections with the former Police Director, Breçan's son married to Ervin Mata's sister are revealed

SPAK has issued 11 arrest warrants, after an operation undertaken this evening, to hit a group of criminal structures.

Arrest warrants have also been issued for Erzen Brecanin and his son Eralbi Brecanin, who are accused of money laundering and supporting the perpetrator of the crime. Ervin Mata, the businessman known in the world of crime, is also wanted, after the gunfight in 2018 with the "king of gambling", Ervis Martinaj.

On the other hand, it is learned that Breçani and Mata are more than collaborators, since Breçani's son is married to Ervin Mata's sister. The former police director is accused of supporting the criminal activity of Mata, together with his son.

Today's operation was a continuation of the "Metamorfoza" mega-operation, as more than 11 suspects for whom arrest warrants were issued after the analysis of messages from the encrypted application "SKY ECC" are charged with money laundering, organized criminal group, drug trafficking, insurance conditions to commit murder, abuse of office and support of the perpetrator of the crime.

The operation is still ongoing and an official announcement is expected to give more details.
