Economic expert Elvin Meka said in a television studio that two of the main problems faced by foreign companies in Albania are the implementation of the contract and the law on land ownership. Albania in compared to all the countries of the Balkans, there is no comparison with Europe, it is far behind not only in terms of industrial development, but also the transaction it can create in the manufacturing industry. Especially after the 90s, it has been perceived that the only comparative advantage is the power cheap labor and informality. If you see most of the investors, they have either been anonymous in their country, or evaders, without a name, and very few international brands as far as the manufacturing industry is concerned.
