Rama "let go" before the elections, 400,000 euros to reimburse fines, penalized subjects two weeks deadline for application

The government seems to be using every possible space to gain some electoral support. Therefore, the Government has made available an amount of 46 million alleks or 400 thousand euros for the reimbursement of fines imposed and paid by businesses that have not implemented the legal obligation to register their beneficial owners according to the established deadlines. The decision published in the Official Journal and which has already entered into force, determines that this additional fund in the 2022 budget, approved for the Ministry of Finance, will be transferred to the National Business Center for the reimbursement of administrative measures paid, forgiven according to the law no. 112/2020, "On the register of beneficial owners", as amended. This addition will be covered by the reserve fund of the state budget, approved for this year. But how will the refund be made? Entities, who have been forgiven the fine paid, imposed on them and their legal representatives and have fulfilled the relevant obligations for the registration of their beneficial owners, submit to the National Business Center the request for reimbursement, no later than 15.12. 2022. The request is accompanied by the relevant documentation, which includes: name/surname of the individual/name of the entity; identity card/NIPT; IBAN; the name of the bank with which the subject's personal account/account is held; d) bank certification, that the bank account where the refund of the fine will be collected is active; and the extract of the data register of the beneficial owners.
