The weakening of the euro has been strong and within a month it has lost about 7 points. The downward trend of the euro started in the middle of May to continue at a faster rate in the first days of June.

Experts warn that the introduction of flows of euros from tourism and remittances during the summer will influence the further strengthening of the shekiparian lek against the euro.

This trend warns that the level of inflation for this month will also decrease, since the weakening of the euro is directly reflected in the prices at which products are sold.

The weakening of the euro has strong effects on reducing the level of the Albanian government's debt.

Meanwhile, citizens and businesses that have loans in euros will now pay less for monthly installments.

But those who expect remittances from relatives will benefit less. The same situation is for exporters who will receive less profits. For this category, the government has approved some fiscal facilities to support them in this period.
