The request of businesses to be able to hire foreigners in the conditions of the lack of labor in the country, has brought together the authorities to coordinate the process of application and approval of unique work permits in Albania.
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, together with the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, Delina Ibrahimaj, and leaders from AKPA, AKSHI, MB and MEPJ, held a meeting today to address the challenges related to the process of application and approval of unique work permits in Albania.
After a series of intensive meetings to listen and resolve issues raised by businesses and employers, in accordance with their suggestions, Gonxja informed that important initiatives have been taken to facilitate the process of unique permits.
"Improvements in the application of the online system will be accessible by businesses within the month of June. We increase efficiency to ensure a mutual dialogue between the public and private sectors", stated Gonxhja.
The electronic service "Application for a unique permit" enables foreign citizens, who wish to stay and work in the territory of the Republic of Albania, to apply for a unique permit in the Republic of Albania.
