Over the past year, several changes have been made to the law on compensations, where one of the main points is to avoid delays for applicants and reduce paperwork. Thus, in a recently published report, the Property Agency suggests that owners will no longer be required to submit accompanying maps of areas to gain the right to return or compensate property. According to the data, over 8 thousand families will benefit from this relief. Other facilities

The Property Agency will apply a range of other benefits to former owners waiting to be compensated. According to the data, from this year will be removed the union of decisions for compensation of an entity. While announcing that this decision will benefit over 3 thousand families, ATP explains that so far it happened that for a subject with the name of the same applicant that two decisions were given, in the final compensation he received a very low value. Thus the Agency has decided to leave a decision and the owner to be compensated with the most positive value. "Removing the union of decisions that have recognized the right to compensation. There are about 3,708 decisions where an entity has at least two decisions with the same name as the former owner. Consolidation of decisions for entities that had a decision with positive value and a decision with exhausted (negative) value, it forbade the subjects to express interest to apply, as their financial value was reduced, ”the report says. Among other things, it is informed that ATP will publish those decisions, which have shortcomings in the documents, to enable the owners to apply once again with full documentation. This decision also leads to the avoidance of courts for property compensation, but issues can be resolved between the applicant and the agency.
