Arrest warrant for Putin, Vucic reacts 'scared'

Arrest warrant for Putin, Vucic reacts 'scared'

On the eve of the March 18 meeting in Ohrid with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the arrest warrant issued today by the International Criminal Court for Russian President Vladimir Putin makes Serbia's position difficult.

He said that Serbia will be more careful in the movements it makes.

He has accused the West of pressuring countries that have not turned hard against Russia.

"It is quite certain that the world is slipping into an additional escalation of the conflict and an acceleration of the conflict," Vucic said in a speech to the citizens.

The Serbian president has said that he will not sign anything tomorrow in Ohrid.

"I'm telling you that I won't sign anything and they don't worry about this... I want to talk about normalization, so that we can discuss with each other", the Serbian president further stated.
