Arrest warrant for Putin, Russia makes the emergency move, here's what is expected to happen

Written by SOT.COM.AL 20 Mars 2023

Moscow has opened a criminal case to the International Criminal Court for the arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia's Investigative Committee, through a Telegram post, has written that it has opened a criminal case against International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Ahmad Khan, as well as judges Tomnoko Akane, Rosario Salvatore Aitala and Sergio Gerando Uhlde Godinez.
On February 22, Khan sent a petition to the ICC's Pre-Trial Chamber to obtain arrest warrants for Putin and the Russian Commissioner for Children's Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova.
Russian media write that "Russia's investigative committee has described the ICC prosecutions as illegal, as there are no grounds for criminal responsibility."
The three ICC judges are accused of 'assaulting a representative of a foreign state as well as attempting to intentionally commit illegal imprisonment'.
Russia has ignored the ICC order, calling it a sign of the collapse of international law.
