TERROR/ They believed they would be resurrected, the family with 4 members committed suicide by jumping from the balcony. The investigations reveal the serious details

On March 24 of last year, a family in Switzerland, in Montreux, lost their lives by jumping from the balcony. According to the police, this event was planned by them.
An eight-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, their father and mother and their mother's twin sister fell from their seventh-floor apartment. The boy was in a coma, but has now recovered from his serious injuries. He doesn't remember that day, investigators say.
Forensic evidence revealed no signs of a struggle before the deaths and autopsies showed no traces of drugs. After a year of investigation, Swiss authorities say the mother of the family and her sister were involved in survival and conspiracy theories.
After the deaths, the police found their apartment full of food, medicine and hygiene materials, carefully stored and organized. The family rarely went out and the children were educated at home. The two women had a deep suspicion of the government and local authorities, investigators say, and had raised their children to believe the world was a hostile place.
The Covid-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine had only served to strengthen their conviction. Searches of the apartment and electronic equipment revealed that the mass suicide was carefully planned, even repeated.
The adults were apparently waiting for the right moment to depart for what they believed would be a better world, away from the one they feared, the police report said.
What seems to have triggered their decision was a social visit from the Montreux police. They stopped that morning to remind the father to go to a meeting with the local education authorities to discuss home-schooling his son, since he had not responded to several letters.
They did not let the police in and were dead a few minutes later. On Tuesday, Swiss authorities appealed for privacy for the surviving boy.
