Russia's Defense Ministry said today that the Russian warship Ivan Hurs was attacked by Ukrainian drones in the Black Sea, approaching the Bosphorus Strait.
In a statement posted on the Telegram messaging app, the ministry said the warship was protecting the TurkStream and BlueStream gas pipelines, which transport gas from Russia to Turkey, partly through the Black Sea.
"All enemy ships were destroyed by fire from the conventional armament of a Russian ship 140 km northeast of the Bosphorus," the statement added.
