The face-to-face meeting in Moka reveals the conversation between Putin and Dodik

The face-to-face meeting in Moka reveals the conversation between Putin and

"The Republika Srpska continues to remain pro-Russian", confirmed the president of this entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, during the meeting he held in Moscow with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

During the meeting, Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska has been exposed to numerous pressures from the West due to its support for Russia.

"We have not allowed an official decision to be made regarding sanctions against the Russian Federation and because of this we have been exposed to various forms of pressure from our Western partners, in the form of sanctions and suspensions from certain projects and programs. But we have chosen not to be part of the hysteria that is being created", said Dodik.

According to the Russian media, "Putin told Dodik that he is grateful for this friendly behavior towards Russia, and for the neutral position of the Republika Srpska regarding the issue of Ukraine."

Dodik is one of the few government officials to have met with Putin since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in February last year.

Due to undermining the Dayton Agreement, which ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995, but also undermining the stability of the state and the region and supporting corrupt actions, Dodik is on the sanctions list of the US and the UK .

The Commissioner for Enlargement of the European Union, Oliver Varhelyi, last week criticized Dodik, who has also visited Russia in the past, saying that the EU needs allies in the war between Russia and Ukraine "and these allies do not go in Moscow".
