The floods in Italy, 1 victim and 11 missing! The authorities are expected to take the drastic decision

The floods in Italy have killed 1 person, while 11 others are still reported missing. Today, the Council of Ministers will meet in an extraordinary session, which will declare a state of emergency due to the floods, while 2 million euros will be allocated for the first interventions.

The fund that will be allocated will be used for the repair of some blocked roads, the temporary housing of citizens whose homes have been destroyed, or to provide food and any other needs for citizens in flooded areas.

Eleonora Sirabella is the 31-year-old who fell victim to the landslide in Ischia, while the search for the 11 missing has continued through the night. The head of Civil Defense, Curcio, calls for caution for the next 48 hours, which is why measures have been taken to evacuate around 200 people.
