The red alert is raised, one of the most active volcanoes in the world erupts

The US Geological Survey has raised the alarm after the eruption of the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii this Wednesday.

Authorities in the US have raised the alert level from orange to red, meaning a major volcanic eruption is underway, which could cause dangerous activity in the air and on the ground.

From reports near the eruption area, numerous lava flows and large amounts of ash spewed from the volcanic mountain.

However, officials have said that the volcanic activity poses no current threat to people, as it is concentrated at the top of the mountain.

The Kilauea volcano is considered one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

Its last eruption was in January 2023 and ended on March 7.

In previous measurements of the lava temperature in this crater, the thermometer exceeded 1,000 degrees Celsius.

In 2018, Kilauea erupted, destroying more than 700 homes. The eruption was so powerful that the structure of the volcanic mountain changed.

It was considered the largest eruption in recent centuries, with more than 60,000 earthquakes reported over a 4-month period.
