A horror event happened in Poland, where a 76-year-old man took his mother's corpse and placed it in front of the TV on the sofa.

Foreign media report that the event took place in the small town of Radlin in southwestern Poland, where the 76-year-old "mummified" his mother's body and placed it on a sofa in front of the television.

The incident was discovered by the 76-year-old's brother-in-law, after a visit to the latter's house where he also saw the mummified body on the couch. He decided to call an ambulance, the doctors who were in the vehicle found the mummified body lying on a sofa on a pile of newspapers dating back to 2009.

Marian L. allegedly sat next to his mother's mummified corpse for more than a decade, even trying to feed her while they watched TV "together".

Meanwhile, the neighbors have expressed that they do not know the 76-year-old very well, as he was a person who stayed alone and avoided contact with people. Foreign media write that they called him "vampire", since they didn't even know his name.

Meanwhile, before being arrested, the 76-year-old asked to say goodbye to his mother, who died in January 2012. According to local media, it is suspected that he exhumed her body immediately after the funeral ceremony.
