Crazy threats from the Kremlin, Medvedev says that the Ukrainians will be destroyed, Putin warns that he will "take care" of Germany as well, a major offensive is being prepared on February 24

The war is expected to escalate. After Western countries promised to supply Ukraine with sophisticated weapons and ammunition, the Russian side has not stopped threatening. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Russia will increasingly demonstrate the full potential of its military arsenal. Lavrov also said that everyone wants the conflict in Ukraine to end, but that Western support for Kiev plays an important role in how Russia approaches the war. The Russian top diplomat announced that Moscow has plans to overshadow pro-Ukrainian events organized by Western countries and allied countries. All of NATO is fighting against us and therefore it is ridiculous to say "we don't fight, we only supply weapons", he said.

Medvedev's shocking warning

On the other hand, Dmitry Medvedev claims that during this year, Russian arms manufacturers and suppliers will "significantly" increase their shipments of military equipment to Russia. Medvedev, currently vice president of the Security Council, said the new arms shipments would ensure Russia inflicted a "devastating defeat" on the Ukrainian military. In relation to Russia's armament, Kremlin spokesman Peskov also threatened with weapons in response to the supply of weapons to Ukraine from Western countries. "As the West supplies new weapons, Russia will increasingly present the full potential of its military arsenal," Peskov said.

Putin's strong message for Germany

Vladimir Putin has gone even further by warning Germany. He said yesterday that Russia was being threatened "again" by German tanks, pointing to the Leopard 2 armored personnel carriers promised to Kiev by the West, drawing another parallel between the fight against Hitler and Russia's military campaign in Ukraine. Russia is planning a major offensive on February 24

Gjithashtu, ministri ukrainas i Mbrojtjes Oleksiy Reznikov zbuloi se Rusia po planifikon një ofensivë të madhe që do të përkojë me përvjetorin e luftës në Ukrainë më 24 shkurt. Ai paralajmëroi se Rusia do të thërriste një kontingjent të madh trupash të mobilizuara. Duke iu referuar mobilizimit të përgjithshëm të Rusisë prej 300,000 rekrutësh shtatorin e kaluar, ai argumentoi se numrat në kufi sugjeronin se madhësia aktuale mund të ishte më afër 500,000."Ne nuk e nënvlerësojmë armikun tonë," tha Reznikov. “Zyrtarisht Rusia  ka  shpallur 300 mijë forca , por kur shohim ushtrinë në kufi, sipas vlerësimeve tona është shumë më tepër seç ata kanë deklaruar zyrtarisht”.Reznikov tha se ofensiva ka të ngjarë të përqendrohet në dy zona: në lindje të vendit, ku janë zhvilluar luftime të rënda javët e fundit; dhe në zonën e jugut.“Ne mendojmë se, duke qenë se Rusia jeton në simbolikë, ata do të përpiqen të provojnë diçka rreth 24 shkurtit me rastin e përvjetori të parë të fillimit të asaj që Kremlini e përcakton si një operacion special” citoi  Reznikov. Por sipas tij dhe data 23 shkurt do të jetë një datë referimi për një ofensive të re nga ana ruse pasi kjo datë festohet në Rusi si “ Data e Mbrojtjes së Atdheut”.
