The International Criminal Court has issued an international arrest warrant for Russian Vladimir Putin.
The court has accused Putin of committing war crimes in Ukraine.
Jurist Arlind Ahmetaj said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the chances that this arrest warrant will be implemented are small
He said that in any case this order creates a kind of tension within the army that may be followed by other arrest orders in the military dome. But the scenario that Putin's successor in the post of president will deliver the latter to The Hague is not excluded.
"If Putin is replaced by another person in the post, it may happen that this person will voluntarily comply with the court order and deport Putin himself to The Hague. This happened in the case of Sudan and Serbia", said the lawyer.
