Vladimir Putin has fallen down the stairs at his official residence while still recovering from cancer, according to a Telegram channel, Daily Mail writes.

The 70-year-old Russian leader, whose health has deteriorated markedly since his war in Ukraine began, collapsed on Wednesday evening while descending the stairs at his home in Moscow.

General SVR has been posting updates about Putin's health since the start of the war, although he has offered no evidence to back up his claims. The event happened in front of the president's bodyguards, who reacted quickly and immediately came to Putin's aid.

"Three security officers helped the president sit down and called the medics on duty at the residence." Despite the reports, Putin was seen visiting a laboratory in Moscow the next day but in good health.

Speculation about Putin's health has been rife since he ordered the invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
