What is happening in Germany? 351 flights are suspended, from Monday...

Airports in Germany block flights tomorrow. The reason for the suspension of 351 trips is a 24-hour strike that will be held by this sector, specifically security checks. This news was announced by the union.

"Longer waiting times and flight cancellations are to be expected," said the union, which earlier yesterday called to support workers' demands for higher wages and better working conditions.

The general manager of this structure, Ralph Beisel, spoke out against this strike, accusing the union of taking abusive steps, adding that the airports are trying to deal with the "deepest crisis in aviation".

Meanwhile, the union claims that pay for night and weekend shifts has not been increased since 2006, while negotiations for an increase have started since 2013.
