The Western countries will have to support Ukraine for a long time, in the middle of the complete occupation of the country by Russia, said the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
Russian President Vladimir Putin "is not planning peace, he is preparing for more war," Stoltenberg said.
Stoltenberg added that Russia is increasing military industrial production and reaching out to authoritarian regimes in an effort to obtain more weapons. As a result, the US, Britain, France, Germany and other Western countries had to prepare to support Ukraine with weapons, ammunition and reserves for a long time.
Earlier this week, EU countries agreed to supply Ukraine with 1 million rounds of ammunition over the next 12 months.
