Serious/ Attack with firearms and knives in this country, three people lost their lives, among them two police officers

A shooting and knife attack in Japan has left three people dead, including two police officers.

Foreign media write that the author was a man who stabbed a woman. When the police went to the scene, the perpetrator shot four people with a hunting rifle. Japanese authorities are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.

Gun violence is extremely rare in Japan, a country of 125 million people. It has one of the lowest gun crime rates in the world due to its extremely strict gun control laws.
