The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that Turkey will start the process of ratifying Finland's membership in NATO.

Ratification must be officially approved by the Turkish Parliament and Erdogan said he hopes this process will happen before the Turkish parliamentary and presidential elections held on May 14, writes REL.
