War bells are ringing in Russia. Vladimir Putin has ordered deforestation in several districts of Moscow since the beginning of the new year. As the Insider learns, the location is being prepared for the deployment of anti-aircraft defense. S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems have already been deployed on the ground in the Losini Ostrov National Park and near the Timirjazev Agricultural Academy. In the Pechatniki district, about 100 hectares of forest were cleared in the protected area of ??the Kolomenskoye reserve, which caused concern among the local population, including fears that the Church of the Ascension, which is included in the UNESCO world heritage register, could endangered, reports Slobodna Dalmacija. Military experts warn that the construction of military facilities near high-rise residential buildings endangers the population. The insider sent a reporter who visited those construction sites. Russia's sudden move

Another site for the air defense system is the Losini Ostrov National Park area in the Bogorodskoye district northeast of Moscow. In late January, residents of a nearby residential complex photographed the S-400 air defense system. Another location for the air defense system is apparently in the Izmajlovski Forest Park. In early January, a part of the forest near the entrance to the national park, just 500 meters from the metro station, was cleared by municipal workers. As in other similar cases, official information has not been published. According to the stories of Muscovites who witnessed this, many larch trees older than half a century were cut down. About a hundred workers were brought in, and the site was guarded by Russian police and guards. In a short time, the cleared area was paved. At the time Insider wrote about it, the military equipment had not yet been installed. However, the "disaster" took place in the Kuryanovo settlement (part of the Pechatniki district) in the southeast of Moscow. A large forest area located on the left bank of the Moscow River was destroyed under the strictest secrecy for military purposes. Local resident Elena (name changed) was told by officers of the Pec?atniki Police Department that nothing could be done there. Officials said the builders had been given a month to complete the work and there was no point in trying to stop them. Elena tried to call the police to stop the cutting of the trees, but was advised not to intervene: "You definitely understand where such decisions are made," the policeman told him. That forest belt stretched over two kilometers in length.

When the balls appeared on the roofs of several Moscow buildings, many analysts concluded that Putin wanted to spread fear among the population of a real attack by NATO, because this is his claim from the beginning that the war in Ukraine is really a defensive war against Russia threatened by the West.
