The bus of the Turkish third category team, Alanya Kestelspor, had an accident in the early hours of the morning while returning from the transfer with Ofspor. 13 players, the coach and his assistant suffered injuries during the accident while fortunately no lives were lost.

In the club's statement, it is written that the injured were immediately taken to the hospital, while in the communique it is emphasized that one of the players had to undergo surgery, being in a more critical condition than the rest of the staff and injured players.

"After the accident, the injured were sent to regional hospitals and their treatment has begun. Thank God no lives were lost in this serious accident, which saddened us all. One of our players was taken to Akdeniz University Hospital for surgery and another one of our players was taken to Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Training and Research. He underwent an operation. The treatment of the other players and our technical team continues," Alanya Kestelspor's statement read.
