Strong developments in many parts of the country, chances of hail, here's what will happen to the temperatures

Today during the day in some parts of the country there may be a strong destabilization of the atmosphere and as a result, strong developments of convective clouds are expected that will cause locally intense rain showers with lightning, thunder and hail.

The strongest developments are expected in the late afternoon or early evening hours, however, some local developments are also expected during the day. All these developments are expected to be local in nature, but the high temperatures and the arrival of the unstable air mass may be an ideal combination for sensational atmospheric developments tonight such as very intense showers for a very short time, very strong winds powerful in times of tribulation, massive lightning and thunder and hail.

So, all of these will be of a local and typical summer character. While some regions are hit by strong passing storms, other regions not too far away may benefit from only a few streaks of rain or no drops at all.

In addition to many regions of the Republic of Kosovo, storms and temporary showers of rain are expected today in some areas in the north of Montenegro and North Macedonia. Intense rains are expected in many parts of the Presheva Valley, while fewer and shorter-term ones are expected in the Albanian territory.

The rather hot weather for this period of time will continue for the next few days and from tomorrow the rains will be rarer and more sporadic. From Thursday, heavy rains are expected in Albania as well, while slightly more intense rains are predicted throughout the weekend.
