She notified the police. I used to go in the morning at 8:00, take the milk. The last conversation with Afrovit was like always, he didn't tell me anything. I was not employed. Sometimes I took the dish to them because they were alone. When I brought them the milk, they were both together. I told him 'let's eat bread' and he said 'Afroviti, let's eat peppers'. I was not paid by the family, I went by myself without payment, without anything. When he showed me, he said he died. I told him why he died, he said he had fallen, 'let's pick him up'. I didn't go to pick it up. He was calm, not even crying. He didn't talk to me or the nurse at all. The nurse said it's over," said the maid. Peçi spoke about the couple and their grandson about "Me Zemër te Hapur". He admitted that the victim had reported her husband to the police several years ago and that Leonidha had shown bad behavior. "There was a complaint from the deceased a few years ago. They lost two children. I don't know if they had mental health issues. We understood that grandfather was not well, we made him whole. He didn't drink", said the grandson of the elderly Peçi couple. According to the Gjirokastra Police, Afroviti Peçi was found dead in the apartment, beaten with a wooden stick. After the event, Leonidha Peçi was arrested and suffered a heart attack. His health condition appears to be stabilized.
