The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has made a decision based on the Constitution of Kosovo, that September 25 will be announced as a day of national mourning, in honor of the policeman Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed in the early hours of Thursday in the north.
The protocol will also take all actions for this decision.
"The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, in support of the Constitution of Kosovo, has decided that Monday, September 25, 2023, will be declared a state day of mourning in honor of the policeman Afrim Bunjaku, killed in the north of the country. The state mourning will be on Monday, while the State Protocol is charged to undertake all the necessary actions for the implementation of this decision", it is stated in the announcement of the Presidency.
