5 people were arrested, including a 70-year-old man, who were deceiving foreign citizens over the phone to invest in fictitious stock exchanges.

5 other citizens, owners and operators of the call center subject in which this criminal activity was carried out, are wanted.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana, after a genuine investigative work, successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation "Devices".

As a result of this operation, the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
GQ, 50 years old, BH, 28 years old, AM, 36 years old, SL, 70 years old and FC, 44 years old, all five residents of Tirana.

The foreign nationals: RF, DF, UF, CN and FS (owners and operators of the call center entity) were also declared wanted.

The investigative actions showed that the arrested citizens were employed in a call center entity and in cooperation with the wanted citizens, called foreign citizens, presented themselves as sales agents and through fraud, convinced them to invest in the fictitious stock market. Forex.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
