An accident happened on the Berat-Lushnje national axis, in "Rotondon e Morava".

Journalist Eneida Petova reports that a "Mercedes Benz" type vehicle collided with the road divider and as a result of the collision the vehicle was destroyed.

After the collision, the vehicle was abandoned on the road and the reasons for the abandonment and who was driving it are not yet known.

Police sources inform that after the arrival of the police at the scene, the vehicle was found abandoned and with the doors open. The police immediately surrounded the perimeter and are working to identify the driver, while a group of experts is examining the vehicle from the inside, since the abandonment of the vehicle after the collision cannot be explained.

Sources from the scene indicate that the vehicle was rented in the city of Durrës, but the driver's identity is still unknown. The same sources confirm that the witnesses at the scene stated that after the collision, the driver and a passenger got out of the vehicle and ran away from the scene. The reasons for the departure of the two citizens from the vehicle are not yet known, while the Berat Regional Hospital confirms that no one has arrived wounded or injured.
