An interesting detail about Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan is that he lived for a period of time in Tetovo, Macedonia. Tonight in "Opinion" on TV Klan, the former consul of Albania in Istanbul Ermal Kaleci said that Erdogan lived there for several months in 1999. It is learned that Erdogan took refuge with an Albanian family after his release from prison.
This is after in 1998 he was convicted of inciting religious hatred for reciting a poem comparing mosques to barracks and believers to an army. In this event, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison, of which he served only 4.
