23 criminal groups were hit, footage of the mega-operation "Tempulli" is released

They have published footage from the arrests made in the early hours of today as part of the mega-operation "Tempulli" against the production, distribution and sale of drugs. As part of the operation that lasted for about 8 months, large amounts of drugs that were to be released on the market in small doses were blocked. The police seized 829 kg of cannabis, a processed part in the form of chocolate, 61 kg of cocaine, 15 kg of heroin, 15 kg of drugs. ecstasy.

Also, 1,541 citizens were prosecuted for the sale of narcotics, checks were carried out in 356 different premises, 23 criminal groups were hit, 214 security measures were executed, 82 people were wanted, 19 people were arrested in the act. The police also seized mobile devices, cars, weapons, money and tools used for weighing drugs and dividing them into small doses. According to Rrumbullak, a large part of those arrested are members of 23 criminal groups, in cities such as Tirana, Durres, Korça, Elbasan and Vlora.

During this mega-operation, as a result of checks in apartments and other premises, so far the following have been seized:

-13 firearms (2 Kalashnikovs, 10 pistols and 1 rifle), 5 shotguns/sporting weapons, 1 electroshock, 8 cold weapons (knives, metal gloves);

-134.5 kg of cannabis, 364 cannabis seeds, 1.2 kg of cocaine, thousands of doses of cannabis, cocaine and heroin, hundreds of doses of MDMA, ecstasy tablets, quantities of synthetic drugs GAB and Poppers, 23 electronic scales, 3 tools for processing and dividing narcotics into dose;

-225 cell phones, 35 vehicles, 1,801,000 new lek, 38,845 euros, 6,100 pounds, 1,100 dollars;

-Also, 4 motor vehicles, 12 license plates, police equipment and fake documents were seized.
