This is the 50-year-old Albanian woman who died after being cut by a meat grinder in a shop in Messolonghi on Friday evening (September 29).

The meat grinder caught her hair as she was cleaning it, shredding it.

The Greek police put the store owner in handcuffs, who is accused of an accident at work resulting in manslaughter.

The body of the Albanian, who was identified as Ana, was sent to Patra for an autopsy, while the burial is expected to take place in Evinochori.

The tragic event happened in front of the 50-year-old woman, who worked together with her mother cleaning the store to earn a living.

"Her daughter was cleaning the front and the mother was in the kitchen. At one point the girl heard voices. She ran and saw her mother in that state," a relative of the victim told protothema.gr.

The woman had been living in Mesolongji for two years with her mother and two children, an 18-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son, after she moved from Albania, after separating from her husband.
